It's never to early to think about Christmas cards and birthday cards during the winter season. This card can be for either, just change out the sentiment.  Mine will be for my brother's birthday!

Birthday Legos

You can never go wrong with Legos for a boy's birthday. So, for my nephew I created this card with My Digital Studio software using punches.  I had fun with this card... a lot of copying and pasting with the Legos though.

I originally created this page for my cell phone wallpaper, but it turned out so well.... I will be using it on a card too!  I had started creating this prior to the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge (HSSIC128) coming out....we must have been on the same wave-length!

I used My Digital Studio software to create the page, and used Julie LeBlanc's brayering technique to create the softness and texture needed for the water and the light in the lighthouse.

Bitty Blossoms - SCCSC128

 

I believe I've found another favorite stamp set. This gorgeous two-step stamp set is called Stippled Blossoms. I created this card with the Stampin' Connection Card Sketch Challenge (SCCSC128) in mind, but this card will be for my mother's birthday (in October).  She loves roses and the color pink.

Working on a few past challenges on splitcoaststampers (DGSC71).  This one challenged us to use only one photo, a large stamp background and smaller stamps as embellishments.

As I usually scrapbook more than one photo on a page....this was a tough challenge for me. I really like the end result though. I used a recent photo of my parents as they celebrated my Dad's 70th Birthday. The subway art is all stamps. I used My Digital Studio software.
