Dreamy Card

LOL! I'm laughing at my title of my card! I usually use a word from each stamp set that is shown on the card.  The stamp sets here are 'Tin of Cards' and 'World of Dreams'. Well, the only thing I could come up with was 'Dreamy Card'.

BUT... it kinda fits, as this card is an anniversary card for Mike's parents who will be celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary! wow!

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp sets - Tin of Cards, World of Dreams
Ink - Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Memento
Paper - Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Accessories - Organza Ribbon (Whisper White); Taffeta Ribbon (Daffodil Delight), glue dots, sponge dauber, circle punch

Vintage Thoughts - CTS137

I thought I would play with this sketch that I saved from August on the CAS(E) This Sketch Blog (CTS137).  You may view the challenge here:

I love the fall and I love my husband... so I incorporated fall leaves in this card for my husband celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. =)

I had first thought to add the dotted lace trim along the edges of the white.... horror -- NOT a good look for a masculine card! LOL! I'm glad I changed it to be just the Delightful Dijon cardstock. whew!

Thanks so much for taking a look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Vintage Leaves, Best Thoughts
Ink - Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke
Paper - Always Artichoke, Delightful Dijon, Whisper White
Accessories - Big Shot, Leaflets Framelits, glue dots, scissors

Boy with Dreams

Not sure who I created this card for... I just had to play with my new stamp set "World of Dreams".  I paired it with the sentiment from "Boys will be Boys".  (Thus, you see why I named the card!)

I love the masking technique with the sponging on cards.  I don't do this often, but the effect is stunning.  On this particular card it almost looks like it's dusk outside.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - World of Dreams, Boys Will Be Boys
Ink - Tip Top Taupe, Hello Honey, Crumb Cake
Paper - Tip Top Taupe, Hello Honey, Whisper White
Accessories - sponge daubers, Taffetta Ribbon (Soft Suede - retired), glue dots
