Minnie 1

Turning 1 is such a wonderful birthday to celebrate! I chose a Disney Minnie theme for my card to her.
I used the envelope punch board to create the bow. I cut a strip of Melon Mambo at 1"  and then punched the curves to create the bow.

Have a wonderful day!

Supplies Used:
Paper - Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Melon Mambo DSP, Whisper White
Accessories - Envelope Punch Board, Large Numbers Framelits, dimensionals, glue dots, Circles Collection Framelits

Birthday Tree

It's a very snowy day here in Cleveland Ohio... I so want to be on the beach soaking up the sun! So, what better way to boost my spirits then to create a beach scene with my Stampin' Supplies!

I see so many opportunities to use the Totally Tree stamp set. I hope to use it through all the seasons this year!

Tip: When using a dark color as I did for the tree leaves (garden green)... I always stamp on a scrap piece of paper prior to stamping on the tree. This way, you will still be able to see the lovely detail of the leaves under the green color.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Totally Trees, Birthday Banners
Ink - Garden Green, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight
Paper - Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Whisper White

Flower Birthday Years

I get many of my card inspirations from online, and this layout/design was one of them. Thanks to ZoeR on Splitcoaststampers website... I loosely used your design to create my own with the tools I had. Thanks ZoeR!

I used Sweet Sugarplum and white for my card as my niece likes purple and blue!

Robot

Pairing the Houndstooth TIEF (Texture Impressions Embossing Folder) with the Silver Foil Sheets creates a great metal-looking background for this card with my robot stamp from the 'Boys Will Be Boys' stamp set!

I used the AquaPainter with Smoky Slate ink to color in my robot.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Boys Will Be Boys
Ink - Memento, Smoky Slate
Paper - Cherry Cobbler, Silver Foil Sheets, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories - Big Shot, Houndstooth TIEF, AquaPainter

Detailed Banners

I saw a few cards on Pinterest where they used the Detailed Floral Thinlits and paper-pieced different colors within the die-cut piece. All I can say is... wow! that takes a lot of patience and a delicate hand! I ruined my first attempt with the tiny pieces inside the flowers. So... I decided to paper-piece behind the die-cut, so I didn't need to deal with very tiny pieces.

I chose these soft but bright colors to brighten up the deary days of winter. I sure hope my Aunt (and GodMom) loves it!

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Birthday Banners
Ink - Peekaboo Peach
Paper - Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Accessories - Big Shot, Precision Plate, Die Brush, Detailed Floral Thinlits, Bunch of Banners Framelits, glue dots, dimensionals

Snappy Day

This is a get-well card for my cousin who was involved in a hit-n-run and she broke her back. She is an amazing lovely lady... where one would be feeling sorry for herself, here she is making jokes and making the most of this awful situation. She is an inspiration to us all. She was fitted for a brace for her back, and she has lovingly referred to it as her lobster brace (it's not red, but white). So, in the same vein as a lobster.... I chose to send her a crab for her get-well card!
May she continue to recover quickly!

Thanks for taking a look!
